Stairway to Misty’s

This fall, on October 6th, 7th, 13th and 14th I will be participating in the popular Whatcom Artist’s Studio Tour. I will be here, in the studio at Donette, on those weekend dates… LIVE…. to feature my latest work.

As I am not one to stand still, or be content with my photographic work, I am working on yet another new style and look of images in a smaller format. Below is a hint of what you will see featured on the Studio Tour along with my “Impressionist Style” images. Click on the image below for a larger view.

Willows Inn on Lummi Island

Recently I installed some creative work in The Willows Inn on Lummi Island. They have gone through an extensive remodel, so while I was there I captured some images that will give you a small taste of what they have accomplished.

Giving it a Second Look

I think of this image as “making art from art.” This metal sculpture stands outside the Whatcom Transit Authorities main terminal. My 4s captured the original using an app called Almost DSLR and this file was edited on the phone using “IRIS” and “Filterstorm” for the final image. It was uploaded from the phone to this blog directly using the “WordPress” app on my phone. It never made it to photoshop but after looking at in on something bigger than my phone screen I see further potential….
